The IDTA will expect all coaches/teams/soloists to abide by the copyright laws regarding music usage as part of performances. Please refer to the Legal Music Clarification link below for a detailed explanation of compliant music.

 

Any reputable music editor now follows the music copyright laws.  Should a team compete in another organization, it is the responsibility of the coach to know what is and is not legal to do with music. The Legal Music Clarification document will remain on the IDTA website as a reference for coaches.
